Active Sync Versions

I have the Cingular 8125 but the computer I want to sync to only has Windows XP SP1 and it cant get the SP2 because its not a legit copy. So is there any other version of Active Sync that will work with the WM 5.0? I really need to get this figured out, I cant seem to find any other versions for download except for 3.8.
