I have a cingular 8125 and it works great, little slow on internet though. The problem is, I need to use windows media player 10 which is on the phone, but my PC only has Windows 2000, not XP - You cannot get windows media player 10 on windows 2000, only windows media player 9. i NEED HELP. I tried to download windows media player 7.1 to the 8125 but it would not work. What should I do?

First off, you only need WMP10 on your PC for AUTOMATED synchronization of your music between your PC and your 8125 (or any Windows Mobile device, for that matter). You can always rip the music and manually place it on your 8125 in the directory where WMP10 is looking for music. The downside is that you are doing all the work manually instead of having the applications do the work for you. The other downside is, of course, that you will get limited or no support for Album Art, automatic track data (song/artist/album names) by doing the transfers manually.

You are correct.. all you need to do is drag the file across folders but you will not get album art.
