Problem with downLoading videos online
I have the tmobile unlimited data plan and I try to download video trailers from online but they wont play i.e being .mpg or .wmv . I know it use to work on my Pocket Pc phone edition 2003 but not with the MDA, Any idea would be greatly appreciated.

same problem... using Cingular. Windows Media 10 opens and the file appears to buffer but nothing happens.... 😡

What happens to me is I download the clip and go to the file to open it and it says I cant view it for some reason, even with .wmv files i download. It only works if I download a video from computer a then sync it to the phone. The MDA should be able to d/l video files and play them, so if it can't do this simple task im returning it and going back to my pocket pc phone edition which COULD do this.

If you don't care, post up some links where you're downloading the clips from and I'll try on my players, I downloaded like 7 or 8. Figured I'd try myself before saying, try this program try that.. etc etc.. I'll give it a whirl myself and see what happens.

I download my videos at www.alltheweb.com and go to video search and download some mitch hedburg clips but I've tried d/l other videos to see whats the deal and still no go. Anyways I returned the phone and got a nokia 9300 but still keep me updated if you can get it to work should my nokia have a problem with videos also.

Oh I see, you're streaming.. yeah doin the same for me bro, that sucks.. there has to be a work around for that. I'll continue to work with it.. even tried Opera browser and I didn't even get a window to start up haha.. oh well, back to the battlefield.
