can not lock my phone

I recently purchased a razr v3c, and I wanted to lock my phone and restrict callers from calling but it will not let me unlock, it says invalid try again, I have tried 1234 0000 and so forth and nothing anyone know of anything

Kind of late.. seeing this is the 23rd but I think the last four digits of your phone number will do it???
