Mobile Phone Tools & 4.0 software multimedia problem
I went to Verizon and had my phone flashed with the version 4.0 software. I then installed MPT and it took some effort to get the program to recognize my phone. Once it did (I chose V3c in the configuration setup), I still do not have the "multimedia" capability.
I thought 4.0 would allow us to transfer files so long as we also have the latest version of MPT. Has anyone had trouble like me? Any help would be appreciated.

Go back in and change the phone type to V3m, and it Will work like a charm.

I went back in and changed it to "V3cm" (V3m was not listed). When I click on the multimedia function, the window pops up but before I can transfer a photo, the two buttons that would allow me to sync from phone to PC or vice versa are grayed out.
Also, the phone loses its synchronization connection with the PC. These are the same problems that came up while I had .03 on the phone. I never had .02. You're lucky you have it!
If anyone has had this problem after they got their phone flashed to .04, I'd like to know. What I want to know is if the upgrade never allowed MPT to work for file transfers, as was the rumor.
