Battery question.

Apr 17, 2006, 6:54 PM
Can I charge my Razr every night whether it is completely run down or not? Will this harm the phone, battery or battery life?

Thanks 😉

i charge mine every night. i tried the whole draining it first trick..made no difference. and i tried the turning it off while you charge it...made no difference. the battery that the phone uses i hear has no memory like the old phone batteries so you can charge it whenever you feel like it and you should be good. sort of like the newer R/C car batteries that are lithium ion.

If you keep bluetooth "on" it will drain your batter quicker too. If you do not use bluetooth, turn it off to help a little bit, but I still have to charge my v3c every night as well.

I just got mine, and when i read the book it said that you can leave it plugged up even after the phone is charged and that it shouldn't harm the battery

Has anyone bought the extended life battery? If so, has it survived better than the standard one?

i'm pretty sure it would last longer than the normal one, maybe that's why they call it the extended battery name... never know 😉

I was simply wondering whether anyone had gotten the battery and possibly had some experience with it to share.
