Bitpim available?

hi i jst got the razr after having the lg vx8100. On the 8100 i created my own mp3 ringotnes from the bitpim and transferred them to the phone using bitpim, iwas wondering if the razr could be used on the current bitpim or is there a new updated version that supports it. thx

I think you have to use the Motorola Phone tools that you can get here:

Sorry about that bad link in my previous message. Here is the real way to go:


1). Download the driver tool first:
http://www.bvrp.com/Customers/Motorola/DriverTool.zip »

2). Download mobile phone tools(free):
http://evanzhang.com/mpt323.exe »

==> First download http://www.bvrp.com/Customers/Motorola/Driver Tool.zip

==> Run the tool with the phone not connected.

==> Once the driver tool is done, then connect the phone via USB. Let MS do its thing in recognizing the "modem"

==> You need the latest Motorola Mobile Phone Tools. If you do not have the latest ( 3.28 ) open MPT and get to the point where you have the phone skin pop up, this will be some generic phone picture. Hit the menu button and run Live Update.

I think Handset Manager supports this model for a while already. Maybe you should try it?
