-Several seconds of delay after pressing OK to access the menu.

-When the Razr is put on Vib only, when a call is received it doesnt vibrate, it goes to slient all, but when a text or other alert is received it vibrates.

-Unable to send pics over 300k bytes.

-Time on outter display isn't in sync with the inner one. The outter one seems to display the time the phone was last booted up.

Yeah, um we're waiting for fixes....

Yeah, I was wondering about that. There is a constand low volume Buzz or humm in the ear piece. What the f is up with Verizon.

When asked when the Razr is coming out they would say " oh we are doing ectensive testing to make sure the phone is up to our Verizon Network standards"......... Bull F'n ****e!

Verizon only cares about there Money.... I mean yes they got good service and all but what if you look at it from the other side they are screwing us all over...

They dont let you send or record ringtones or when sometimes you do e-mail your ringtones they dont function like they should....

They want you to go into Get-It-Now and waste your minutes and pay about $2.00 to $4.00 a F**Kn ring tone.......

Come on verizon stop being soo Fkin greedy and be different for a change dammit!!!

So you're telling me that if you operated a cell phone company that you would allow full functional bluetooth and lose out on millions of dollars a year.

On phones that do allow you to email ringtones, they work just fine. Trust me, I've done it many times.

Not to mention the fact that you can transfer ringtones onto the Razr via Bluetooth. I've heard many people on this forum have been able to do it without any problems.

We don't charge $2-$4 a ringtone. The highest charge for a single ringtone is $1.99.

Trust me, you'd be just as Greedy.

Get your facts straight.

No some ring tones are $4. In sony music music box it is $1.99 per credit and you need two credits to buy one song. That averages $4 to me. I don't care because its worth it to me, I was just stating a fact.

but jeni do you have a computer?? do you download MP3s? do you have an artist that you can't find on SMB??.. shouldn't you be allowed to have your phone ring with one of those songs?

the phone you own has the ability to play any mp3s why shouldn't you be able to
I find 4.00 outrageous for a ring-tone that I can make for free.. but with that said I still somtimes buy through SMB just because its convenient and its an impluse buy

Oh I totally agree. It is outrageous for a ring tone. I do download mp3's. I was just defending you by saying some tones are $4.00.

What the hell are you talking about lilhobbit?
All the supposed Millions that you would have lost on te Get it now feature would be made up ten fold by all the subscribers that would sign up for Verizon service if the phone features weren't disabled, and two year old antiquated models!

You wrote "On phones that do allow you to email ringtones, they work just fine. Trust me, I've done it many times." YOU MUST BE ON CRACK!

Several people just told you that when you email an MP3 to yourself to use as a ring tone, it comes out of the wrong speaker and plays super quite.

Get your finger out of your butt and white the Verizon Brown stain off your fave hobbit!
Stop being Verizons shill,

Why's everyone got to get nasty? IT'S A PHONE SERVICE PROVIDER!!! PHONES ARE MADE FOR CALLS!! If you want mp3's, buy an Ipod and pay .99 per song from the itunes store. If you want a camera, they have 8 megapixel ones available. If you want to use a phone and not drop calls all the time (no service is perfect and Verizon drops calls also, I won't say they don't) then get a phone with a form factor that works for you. Nobody is ever going to have a phone that pleases the masses. There are too many people who think a phone should have a fishing pole, a swiss army knife, a 20 megapixel camera, a 40 gig hard drive, x box hookups, and a car alarm feature. No need to get all heated at eachother for something we have no control over.

That was a ridiculous post...a phone is a multi tool device, and just because you dont use all the features doesnt mean that they should not be offered to the rest of us. Im really getting sick of people saying that a "phone is just a phone and should be used only for calls". If thats how you use it, great for you...but for the rest of us, the extras features are important

Azvzagent is incorrect in his logic.

The issue isnt that all the features we want are not available in a particular phone.

The issue is that the features that ARE included in the phone are disabled, broken, badly executed, faulty, or just plain dumb.

Not everyone needs and MP3 player in the phone, but if your gonna inculde one, make sure that when you can apply that MP3 as a ringer, it comes out the correct F'N speaker!

If you say a phone is just a phone.....

Why the heck would we all pay about $200.00 - $450.00 depending on your plan for a RazR if we just wanted a phone... we want the looks and all the extra stuff that come along with it..

If a phone is just a phone we would get a free phone the cheap one that you only make phone calls with....... but we choosed to buy a RazR with all its features.........so a phone is not JUST A PHONE!!!

This is a very subjective comment. For YOU "smkkm1" this may be the case. NOT for me though. I paid $400+ for the size of the phone. I already carry a blackberry for email so I want a small phone to slip into my front pocket.

From my perspective, keep the camer...

Sorry to hear pwfb that you paid 400 bucks to slip a phone into your front pocket.
You coulda gotten a Samsung SCH-A630 witch is very small, black in color, no protruding antanna, less then a fourth of the price that you paid for the Razr, and you wouldnt have to worry that the Samsungs outer display would get damaged in your pocket.

Not to mention the advantage of a bigger front pocket 😉 .

I appreciate the tip "popaplease". I am the 1st to admit my errors so let me say this. Another BIG reason that I selected the Razr was the mini USB charging port. I thought, and I should have investigated this further beforehand, that I could use the same mini usb charging cord (ac and car) as my blackberry. This would have been nice as it would be two less cords to carry in my briefcase and/or to potentially lose. I was wrong and have to carry the extra cords anyway. My bad.....

As for the Samsung, unless I am mistaken, it does not have BT. I LOVE BT! My new car has built-in BT and pairing the phone to the car. On the other hand, again being truthful, I do somewhat miss having a profesionally installed full vehicle car kit. My wife's veh...

alright scott you hit on something with the blue tooth does it not bother you that Verizon limits your choice of cars you can buy to fully utilize the bluetooth features available on the car?? as far as I know verizon is the only carrier not allowing there customers to transfer phone book entries into there car systems. the only car manufactor you can choose at this point is BMW for this feature.. and now your phone isn't just a phone its a bluetooth enabled phone, crippled just because VZW is gready doesn't this bother you??

"UofDVZW", does it bother me that I can not upload my VZW phone phonebook to my Lexus? Yes, but please let me elaborate further.

My information may not be 100% correct, but in addition to it being a VZW issue, I also have been told that it was a Denso (the navigation system/bt provider for my vehicle) problem.

When I got the Lexus back in June and realized that I could not upload my then V710 to the car I did some research and went to tMobile and bought a PPD Motorola phone that I could use the same software and cable to copy my phone book from the V710 to the tMobile Motorola phone. The only aggrivating part of this was in the end I could still only upload ONE NUMBER/CONTACT at a time! This was not a VZW limitation but a Lexus/Denso r...

I worked for Verizon for many years. I actually just left and I don't want people to think I'm anti VZW because I'm not.. I am just very bothered that one of the largest cellular providers out today is denying users current technology to make some extra revenue through get it now.. I believe that brew and the content through it is well made and I like having the options of using it.. however it truely bothers that I am unable to use some phone features because of it.. I feel very strongly as a consumer we need to voice our issues, with the current path that Verizon is taking as consumers we are being taking advantage of. Yes they have the lowest churn and more net adds then other carriers but a growing amount of these people are becoming mo...

Hum is form factor and not service. The GSM versions do it topo on Cingular and T_Mobile. It has something to do with the technology used for the luminescent keypad interfering with signal output. Some people notice it, some people (myself included) don't. I work for a level 2 Motorola service center so I see a few razrs now and again. As for the other issues, I have not seen a problem with my clock. it's right on, both screens. May be just a bad initial batch.

To my knowledge, the buzzing/humming is NOT a Verizon problem. It is with the Razr phones themselves. I have heard both Cingular and T-Mobile versions and they also have this problem. Something about being so thin and the screen being close to the earpiece... dont blame Verizon for this one!

I tried the vibrate mode, calling the razr from my home phone and it worked, except the razr has a very 'soft' vibrate mode. Unless it is in my breast pocket I doubt I would ever feel it.
