My Second (and third) Question(s)
I started emailing sound files to my phone. No problem there as I have done this many times with my old phone. I am happy to see that I can send .mp3 files without converting them to .mid files as I had to with my old phone. I don't know if I really hear the difference yet from the stereo .mp3 or the mono .mid files but I have read somewhere that the .mp3 player that the razr is supposed to have has been disabled. Is this true? Anyway I have two questions.
1. How do I erase the sound files I don't want? I feel stupid about this, but when I go look at the sound files I do not see an erase option.
2. I have noticed that the .mp3 files sound low when I play them. Does anyone know of a free program to raise the volume of the .mp3 file...

I can help you with question #2. I know this may seem odd, but go to the GIN screen by pressing the right arrow key. Opt 1 is "Get Tunes & Tones", then scroll to the tone you want to erase and press the left soft key "Erase".

Perfect, thanks Kbreslaw. I wish they would also let us erase the sounds that come with the phone, but I see they do not have an erase option. The majority of them are just a waste of memory. Now on to question 2, which I hope someone can answer for me. MIF.

Hi,
I think I just posted a new thread on the same issue...(MP3 Ringers Super Quite (coming out of wrong speaker)! )
Are you trying to use downloaded sounds\music as a ringer? I believe the issue isnt thats its quite, but the sound is coming out of the wrong speaker. Its playing at max volume but your earpiece speaker cant play it any louder.
Verizon F'd us again.
Let me know if that the issue.
Thanks
