Having Trouble Pairing the V3c with Acura MDX

PrettyPrettyGood

I have been unable to pair my Razr V3c with my 2005 Acura MDX. My V710 worked like a charm, but I can't seem to get the V3c to work. Talking to Acura and Motorola did no good. Does anyone have any (useful) advice? Is it worth talking to Verizon and trying to get them to include something in their upcoming software update? Who at Verizon would I even talk to?

Boy. That's a lot of questions. I must sound like Rosanne Rosannadanna.

Anyway, a little help from you folks would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

What type of problems are you having? My auto charger will not work in Saab 9.3. Razr & chargers were purchased about 3 weeks ago.
Neither Verizon nor Saab Dealer has been able to resolve.

I had trouble pairing a bluetooth headset to the v3c, like you I was used to the v710 and the razr is totally different. I think to get it to pair, your Acura must be in pairing mode and then go thru the discovery process in the user manual. I got the headset to work that way and like I said I struggled with the headset to the point that I read the manual and asked the question on here. Hope it helps and maybe someone will read this that has done it.

I have an 05 TL and had no problems. Go through the pairing process with your Acura and assign it the four digit code. Next go to your phone's bluetooth menu, make the phone discoverable, then go to the "handsfree" menu on the phone and select "look for devices". At this point it should find "HandsFreeLink TM". Go through the steps to pair and enter your four digit code.

One last thing, in the Bluetooth>Setup menu on your phone and make sure the Bluetooth Power is "On"

Was that completely necessary? They needed help, and their request wasn't from out in left field.

If your V710 paired, then the V3c will be no problem. Don't expect any phonebook transfer though. The Acura just uses voice tags that can't be moved via Bluetooth.
