Lag and Clock Freeze Issues

OK so I purchased a Razr V3c today from my local Verizon Wireless Store. I love it so far except for two annoying issues. One there is definately a lag on the home screen menu when u press to go into contacts, messages,etc. There doesn't seem to be any lag though once you get into the submenus. There is also about a 4-5 second lag when you press the camera/video button on the keypad. THe other main issue is my clock froze on 7:49 pm and it annoyed me so much that I turned my phone off and when I turned it back on it was back to the correct, present time. Hasn't froze since then but we will see. I know someone else on here posted that they have had similiar issues so far. Can I take the phone back to get it flashed to correct these issues? If...

My clock froze yesterday for 20 minutes and a few more times after that but just briefly, but it was just the clock that froze. In fact, when I texted or called it seemed to rectify the problem. Today, it hasn't happened at all. I did notice a slight hiccup with the iTAP, it doesn't always predict the word or any word for that matter. The lag doesn't bother me because my Samsung A850 was slower than molasses. What a mistake I made with that purchase! Anyway, so far I really like this phone.

Thanks for the reply...I appreciate your response! Still I feel that as much as I paid for this phone it shouldnt have these type of problems. Can anyone answer my question about if having ur phone flashed erases ringtones, wallpaper, pics that have been downloaded from get it now? In other words I dont wanna buy anything from get it now and then have it erased later. Thanks

They're not going to flash a new phone. If your having problems and are within 15 days (which you obviously would be with this one) you can swap it out for another new one. If you do this, you can call CS and they will refund your GIN purchases as long as you repurchase the SAME ones first on the new handset.

I have 2 razrs and played with one in the store before i bought my first and the lag is the same on all 3 of them. To me that is not such a huge problem i mean it is like 1 sec for contact and message button what do u expect for something so small!!!!!! THe pic button is about 5 but i dont use it so not a huge problem. As far as time my clock on any of my phone hads not been inaccurate as far as i can tell. Already have 14 hours on the promary one and has not given me the slightest problem. The only thing i can complain persay abou tis the signal strength . I am very dissappointed with this. My lg 6000 and yes believe it or nto moto 720 (real old school) has better signal strength around the house. Been snowed in so have not been a...

I had the time freeze/lag issue. Really annoying.

I took it to my local Verizon store and the rep suggested taking out the battery and putting it back in.

Fixed it!

Not that this is a major issue but has anyone else noticed that the in box doesn't record the # of texts?

The counter on the message menu only counts the unread/unheard messages. If you had three unread text messages in your inbox it would read "Inbox (3)", I think the glitch is in the "Sent" menu, all those messages register as unread.

THIS PHONE IS GREAT, BUT I DO HAVE A MINOR ISSUE WITH THE CLOCK FREEZE PROBLEM. I PLUGGED MY PHONE IN TO CHARGE WHILE GETTING UP AND GETTING READY FOR WORK THIS MORNING AT 6:45 AM AND WHEN I WAS GETTING READY TO WALK OUT I UNPLUGGED MY PHONE (8:30AM) AND MY CLOCK STILL SAID 6:45 BEFORE AND AFTER I UNPLUGGED IT. IT CHANGED TO THE NORMAL TIME ONCE I MADE A CALL FROM IT. I FOUND THAT TO BE A LITTLE IRRITATING, ALSO I COULD NOT DIAL OUT WHILE IT WAS PLUGGED IN TO THE CHARGER. I CALLED CUSTOMER SUPPORT AND THEY SAID TO DIAL *228 OPTION 2 (VERIZON) AND THAT MIGHT HELP WITH A LITTLE SOFTWARE UPDATE. THE REP ALSO SAID TO TAKE IT IN TO A VERIZON STOPE SO WHEN I DID, THEY SAID THEY HAVE HAD A FEW ISSUES AND IT IS A SOFTWARE GLITCH!!! I GUESS VERI...
