Ok, now I am a bit confused. I was under the impression that this phone didnt have OBEX, which means we couldnt transfer files from computer to phone and vice versa.

On the main fact sheet, it claims:

Custom Graphics: Yes

Here is the definition of Custom Graphics

So I said to myself "Cool, so we can get images that we created in photoshop and set them as our backgrounds??"

Anyone know whats up with this? It also mentions it plays MP3s ... How can we get our MP3s onto the phone if there is no OBEX? Does that mean the only way is to pay for them again through verizon???

Im confused, can anyone clarify? Thanks! 🙂

There is OBEX on the alltel phone. While it doesn't list this as a profile you can go to any ringer, pictures, or persons in your phone book, and select move or copy from the options and then send it to another BT device...my roommate and i have done this with his 6255i and i've moved .mp3s to my phone from my pc.

excellent, thanks for the response.

So how do you connect the phone to your PC? Its done wirelessly through bluetooth or do you plug a usb into the phone and the computer and the phone acts like a drive?

Also, any feedback on the V3c new usb charger? Is it much better, a rumor? thanks! 🙂

To use a usb cable to connect the phone you need the driver for this phone i don't think any are out yet for the v3c. I tried plugging it in and windows saw it as a razr v3c but without the driver it couldn't do anything with it.

I'm connecting to my pc through BT using a belkin usb BT module that i purchased last night at circuit city.

When you say usb charger what do you mean? The wall charger that comes with the phone or the abilty to charge the phone with it connected to a powered usb port?

cool how much was the belkin BT module at circuit city?

about the usb port, we were under the impression that motorola changed their charger port to a mini usb port (kind of like a blackberry). we were all excited about this because if youve had a motorola phone before, you know that the charger for it suwks 🙂

I cant wait for verizon to offer this phone, I just hope they dont disable everything!

The belkin adapter was about $50...and i've had some issues with it. I've found serveral places on the net that sell similar adapters for much lower prices...there is a chance that this adapter is going back tonight.

The phone used the mini usb for everything, charging, data, and wired headsets (so u can't use a wired headset and a car charger at the same time.
