Alltel has just got there shipment in today of the phones and its sad to say, OBEX is not supported in the phone. This is something most of us knew and some of us tried to deny. Oh well OBEX is really not that important.

That's funny, elsewhere in this forum are links to Howard Forums with advanced users unlocking the Alltel phone for Verizon. These guys have all unanimously said that the phones that they have in hand have OBEX.

The Verizon issue will have the new VZW user interface. The Motorola interface with the original menu selections won't be an option.

It says in the official verizon online manual that this phone DOES NOT support OBEX ☹️
Seems like people are still finding other ways to get files back and forth between computer and phone. Hopefully its not too much of a pain in the arse
