Speaker phone w/ flip down ?

Does anyone here know if the phone's speaker operates w/ it's flip down? I noticed w/ Verizon phones this does not seem to be the case.

But, why? I mean, hopefully this one would be the first.

It will operate with the flip down, and it won't be the first phone 🙂

heard of the lg-vx4650(or 4700), or the moto e815 or the sam a950 or the sam a970??

The Motorola E815 enables you to use the speakerphone while the phone is closed.
