I have bad service in my house and the only survice that works in my house is Verizon. I have tried the Razor from T-Mobile and Cingular, and boy does that black make a difference. Although i did'nt get good reception I was going to keep the black one until I went to a bar and realized the earpeace volumn was allready maxed out. So I had to return it. Functionality and service are the most important factors for me. If you compare the pictures of the V3c to the v3 you will see there is an difference in the earpeace channal. Will the new Razor finally be heard in a loud environment.

Hell their CEO will tell you that.. but anyway it's not a network issue, it's not really a phone issue either, it's a Moto issue.. They have this thing with pissing people off by not allowing their phones to be turned up very loud.. Don't know why, but I asked our Moto rep about that (not the RAZR specifically but Moto phones in general) and she spouted some BS about ear damage and what not.. Guess they don't want to chance a lawsuit.. or maybe they're just too lazy to fix it.. who knows. My gu...

Has anyone else noticed the stats on the main display screen?
This was supposed to have a better screen. Why only 65k?

Thanks for your response. Unfortunantly that's what I was suspecting. Now that you mention that I remember the 815 not being so loud either. Thanks

I do agree somewhat with the volume issue because my v400 has horrible sound, however my v262 has a very loud earpiece and it is much clearer. Could just be the better Alltel Network too though. Not sure.

One of the first things I did with my Cingular RAZR a year ago was hack into it and up its maximum ear piece volume to "deafening". Search around and you'll find how to do it.
