This is what my BlackBerry uses. This is great!

Are you "gunny" from the "SF Valley"?

Its not the same as the Blackberry. The outside perimeter of the plug is the same but the pin assembly is different.

True, what I should have said is that it is the same in "functionality". 😁

But how does one charge all the other cell phones? With my Moto V60i, I stick a little skinny rectangular plug into the bottom of the unit and the other end is plugged into a little black box which is plugged into a strip outlet.

How is this different?

I'm not sure what type of exclusive you mean, but this phone certainly won't be a Verizon exclusive. It goes on sale Monday with Alltel...

I think he just means it will be first released as a ONLINE only exclusive by verizon, then it will hit the stores shortly after.

USCC is working on getting it out for the holiday shopping season and I think it will happen. FYI, there never was an exclusive on the RAZR and Motorola made it available to all CDMA carriers at the same time...the way it should be all the time.

The EV-DO will be disabled/turned-off. When USCC does launch EV-DO, it will be turned-on via a flash or firmware upgrade.

Why would they do that? Why not just have it in the phone enabled already? If your system doesn't support it won't show up until the system does. Just like VZW EVDO phones in a 1X area. Why incur the cost and time to have to do firmware upgrades when you can just distribute it that way from the start? That's just foolish and creating more work for the techs/csr's.

Agreed. Makes perfect sense. I do not know how its being done for USCC. Perhaps via the PRI file? I dunno but I do agree with you.
