I have T-mobile but I am really thinking about getting this phone so I was wondering if a unlocked one would work as easily with t-mo as it does cingular like people say it does well anyways thank you for the help

Keep in mind the coverage of T-mobile vs. Cingular in your area. Your phone will only work, to some degree, as good as your coverage. Everything else (mp3 player, camera, FM Radio, etc.) isn't dependent on that and should work fine. Reception on my w600i is better than my Moto v557. It is like anything else, it has pros and cons. Just do your homework and make sure it has the functions you want/expect before purchasing. I've never bought an unlocked phone so I have no comment on that. I have Cingular and in my area is the best coverage, and the 600 has worked flawlessly. Good luck.
