I don't own a memory card for the phone yet but I have heard others say that the gold strips on the card should be facing upwards. I'm not sure though. I think the online manual for the phone on Verizon's website shows you how to put the card in. I'll give you the link to it:

I just tested it out to see if it works. On the Verizon manual, click on MP3s and then click on loading MP3s and it will eventualy show you how to insert the card into the phone.

Also, when you do put it in (correctly, of course) you need to push it until it snaps into place. It's a little hard because of the size of the card and the space available, but using your fingernail works great to put it in that extra little bit until it "clicks" in perfectly. You also need to give it that "push" to get it out.

I had no trouble getting the card into the phone as Mary described, but I did have trouble getting the card into the MobilMate card reader. There are 2 slots in the card reader. The microSD card seemed to fit the transflash slot in the reader (no snap, however), but wasn't recognized by my computer. I had to put the microSD card into the adapter that came with the flash card, and then insert the adapter into the other miniSD slot in the reader. Only then was the microSD card recognized. Has anybody else had this problem?
