8100 Reject
I have had the 8100 since the first day I could get it in my area, but my curiousity of the a950 finally got the best of me yesterday and I went and bought it. I just had to at least try it out. Well, long story short, I am now using my 8100 again.
As far as BT and reception on the a950-I didn't notice any difference in reception, but then again I never had reception problems with my 8100. As far as BT-I like the fact that on the 950 you only had to say "call Amy home" and it would call vs. "Call Someone" "Amy" "Home" "YES", etc. on the 8100, BUT, when I pressed my headset to start this process with the 950 there was a huge delay before I was even able to make the command.

As I and other have said in the past: you were very lucky to get an 8100 that didn't have volume problems; however, while there are a few other lucky ones like you - from what I experienced along with many others - there ARE volume problems associated with the 8100. And none associated (thus far) with the 950. People can draw their own conclusions but a better built phone (and that is also in the eye/hands of the beholder as to which is better made) will do you no good if you continually have volume problems.
