The Real Story V325

I picked this phone up on 12/16/05
I ordered it from my local Verizon
store. When I went to get the phone
I was told that there was a freeze
problem and if I had a problem they
couldn't replace the phone with a V325
unit. This problem should be fixed in
January 06. I have not had any problems
with this Moto at all. It feels good works
well. A very good "Phone" I very happy I
own it......
Any Questions

Is it true that VZ Navigator is not currently available through Get it Now on that phone? Also, how's the sound quality (earpiece and speakerphone)?

The real story is that the handset was pulled because it was supposed to be the launch vehicle for VZW's new LBS called VZNavigator. Unfortunately, they encountered some issues with the VZNavigator application via Get It Now and pulled the handset off the shelf until they can get the application working and get a successful launch going.

For anyone who currently DOES have the V325, it does not currently have VZNavigator available via Get It Now, though it did for a couple of days after it was pulled.

As far as locking issues, it's experiencing the same ones as the RAZR is so I sincerely doubt that's the reason why this handset was pulled. Its a known issue on Motorola's end and Moto's working hard on getting the issue resolved AS...

*yawn* Yeah, right, the "real story" is that...there was a bluetooth mislabeling on the box...or navigator isn't working...your mom sat on the phone 😁 ...

I'll stick with the "freezing problems" story, reported by VZW_Employee on howard forums, as he's the only one with a reliable enough reputation.

Well I don't wants going on with verizon but I can tell you I have them in stock in my store. I use one now personally and I have no problems with it. The naviagtion thingy isn't on the phone yet but that will come in time. I manage a wireless zone store which is a retailer for verizon. I think verizon just doesn't want to sell it yet. The freezing thing could be true but mine is fine and I haven't had any come back yet

I really enjoy it. I really wish it had bluetooth though. I like the fact it uses a usb charger like the razor and it uses the new verizon menu setup. I haven't like the 710 and the e815 because of the charger and menu style. the v325 takes care of that but lack bluetooth. And i love the rubber like egde around the phone
