The site says Trimode but I thought the v325 was an e815 without bluetooth? Isn't e815 not trimode?

The Moto V325 is available at the Wireless Zone stores around the Washington area, but they have not yet got the VZ Navigator up and working, so I am waiting until they do, and I will go to a Verizon Wireless store or Best Buy.

The v325 is not an E815 w/o bluetooth. It is actually an enhancement of the v276. It has a smaller screen but same resolution as the 815 (1.9"vs 2.2"). It is apparently tri-mode. It does not have a micro-sd slot like 815. It does have a mini-usb connector. It also has a monochrome display on the outside and only a 640x480 camera

I thought the e815 screen was supposed to be better than the v325? The specs say the following about the screens of the two:

e815:
Type: LCD (Color TFT/TFD)
Colors: 262,144 (18-bit)
Size: 176 x 220 pixels
TFT / 65,000 colors for wallpaper

v325:
Type: LCD (Color TFT/TFD)
Colors: 65,536 (16-bit)
Size: 176 x 220 pixels

Just wondering...

um, the E815 has a 262k screen and the V325 has a 65k screen, just like you just posted. you just posted that the E815's screen had 4 times the resolution. i don't understand where you're coming from?

Yeah, I see you're right. I was noticing the color depth of the one vs. the other, not resolution. My son has an e815 and the screen is pretty cool. The side-by-side comparisons of the e815 vs. many of the other Motorolas (even non-Verizon ones) reveal that phone to be pretty high-end.

Thanks for the input.

No it is not a dumbed down 815. If anything I would say it is a souped up 265
Lets see some reviews of this bad boy!!!
