😢 I'm in a pickle, I currently use sprint service and have a Sanyo MM-5600 and LOVE 🙂 it, I use the media player to download movies and shows and pictures onto my phone(Its great!) 😁 BUT.....I like the A970's design with the four buttons on the outside instead of three and the black part on the outer screen and the inside button alighnment design.....BUT 😳 .....Some people say and I believe myself that Verizon's version will be crippled and you have to use there service features to make other features of the phone work(Boo-hoo) 😢 .... BUT I know for a fact that sprint doesn't mess with there phones or cripple them.....BUT.....the sprint version is so ugly. Maybe its just my opinion on how a phone looks but its a big plus if it lo...

If you are already a Sprint customer and happy with the service, I say stay with them. I am a Verizon Customer in MI and I get great service, but Sprint is great here too and Verizon does disable their phones. Why pay more for a phone when you cannot take advantage of it completely? The buttons do looks different, but the differences are not great enough to warrant buying the A970 with crippled features, possibly no bluetooth?!! What are we paying for on this phone? Paying open phone prices for crippled features is like paying full price for a car without an engine. I'm not Fred Flintstone. I need an engine...

The photos we have of the A940 are only preliminary FCC photos. Nobody has seen the final design yet.

i'll make this real easy for you, the samsung a970 is not a good phone. its bulkier than the lg 8000 and while the picture quality is nice you cannot take a picture with out the screen turned which is father flimsy. also the menus are harder to use than anyother phone out there and using the camera option is a whole job unto its self i would not get this phone if it was the only one avaliable for verizon

So, what you're saying is that you have experience in using this phone - all facets of it - and even though it has not been released yet you have been using it on the Verizon network! Interesting!!

I understand perfectly - testers and all that. Do me a favor, take a photo (a closeup please) of you holding the phone in the mirror - I would like to see how big it is in your hand. Maybe take a photo of the box it came in - I would like to see how well Samsung packs its phones.

PS The 8100 (which I used and returned) is not a very good phone - and the 815 is so cheaply made that it will fall apart within months!
