EVDO + AMPS?
Now, I think this is a first. An EV-DO phone with AMPS! Is this not strange to any of you? This is good where I live but this is the first one like this I have seen!

I received the info that it would have analog very recently, from an official Samsung spokesperson. That should have been pretty darn reliable...
...but it doesn't jive with the FCC filings, which - for this specific type of info - are legally binding, so I think my Samsung contact must have been mistaken.

It was a mistake. I just received confirmation that it does not have analog.

The preliminary manual shows an analog icon for the screen though. But it is preliminary đ

You guys gotta let go of the analog. In the NY metro region, we are getting rid of all analog facilities to the cell sites. Probably gonna be the same throughout the whole nation.
