I am going to get the 9800 this coming week! So I am trying to figure out how to convert movies. I downloaded dvd decrypted that was recommended on the howard forum. I put in national treasure and decrypted it. It created a folder on the c drive named national treasure. There is a folder named video_ts. Inside that folder there is all the files that I should need. Now what do I do from there? I downloaded both super and 3gpconverter. What do I do? I just don't get this part also if I want to watch off the hard drive how do I do that when the movie is broken down into chapters? Please help I want to get this down before I get this phone. Thanks!

jmdizzle, I have read this tread you posted. So please don't slam. I do not understand what to do that is why I asked. There is more than .vob on the folder and when I try to convert them it comes up with an error. I do not understand do I just convert the .vob files only? Will the phone auto run the movie like a normal dvd player?

Just looking for help. I have read a ton of these threads and threads on howard forum. So I am trying to learn.

If you hit error -2048, 1073741571 or -2095, install QuickTime from Apple and try again

You convert an AVI files exactly as you convert DVD video files (VOB's)

The phone should just play the movie all the way through.

Are you converting dvd's you ripped? Or like stuff you downloaded from limewire?

if it's dvd's you ripped then

go to local c drive and find the title of the movie you ripped.

next click on the ts folder

then drag the video file to the converter

I don't really think you read any threads, because after only reading a few on these forums a...

Ok, jmdizzle I once again I am telling you I have read the treads on this forum and howard forum. I have questions not about the .vob files I understand that once you rip the movie and its on your hdd that you put the .vob files in the converter program.

My question was reading about the converter program it said that it only converts .vob (what my dvd is ripped to) and the rest of the files on the movie folder can not be converted. So I asked for help about what to do with the non converted files? Do you have to transfer them in the phone directory or just the converted files?

I have not seen anyone asking a question like this! So instead of being on your high horse and thinking you run this site, why don't you help others with out c...

I don't "run" this site or sit on a high horse you are just acting like a jerk to me. I love to help people and I feel satisfaction when I do. I love the share the information that I have with others so they can have the same experience with the phone that I have. I even research questions that I don't know about because apparently most the people here have heard of a site called google. I helped and tried to answer everyone elses questions but I don't like to when they ask them like you and it looks like a sarcastic post or they think someone has to drop what they are doing and figure out how to help them. I already answered your question a couple of times, your just worried about trying to make me look like an idiot.

Sorry if I have "lo...

Ok, ok once again you did not understand where my question came from. I asked about the other files during converting a movie. If you would go back to my first question, I asked that in the movie folder there was some files in it. That I did not know what to do with. It was my fault that I did not specify that it was the .bup files.

Maybe if I asked a direct question you would have not typed "

if you would have just looked at the thread right below yours. I don't understand why no one can just read a couple threads."

When you typed that to me you did not treat my question like you do towards others. How many times have people asked "where is the secert menu"? That is an ea...
