Using the VZ Navigator

Hello. I just upgraded to this phone and I'm learning how to use it. I have been unable to find much about the Navigator function, primarily, if it can be used with the phone closed after set up?. I ride a bike and would like to use this feature when doing so.

My understanding is that VZW Nav does not work on the outer screen -- functions only on the inner.

That is correct...no can do. But its still worth it. It is very accurate with lots of features and that screen is so nice and bright.
