oka so ive had this phone since it was new (oct.) and i gotta tell you its changed my life a little it is the ultimate device to have my entire life is on my phone if i was ever without this thing id freak out, but ultimently im unhappy with tthe phone because of two things it DOSENT TAKE CONTINIOUS VIDEO which is bull because it has an exapandable card and takes a higher rezolution vid that you cant even send anyway i called lg and they said it was limited by the carrier(verizon) i thought that was bull because the samsung takes continous video u can never get truth out of a rep from either company the other thing is memory which isant the worst thing i had a 1 gig card in it and had trouble saving pics with it sometimes also i just bought ...

i guess i am kinda bummed by the 15 seconds of video as well, but truth be told about video on digital cameras..what do you use it for?

1. Making a short video (something interesting) and send it to your friends. Now if you got a 6 minute video, good job for making your friend WAIT and DOWNLOAD the video to his phone (while costing him/her airtime) for about 10 minutes. Then watching something that he is VERY likely to delete, seeing it crabs up a crap load of space.

2. The video is only 300x100 some resolution. Hey, i have a 20" LCD and 300x100 is pretty damn small. -_- I dont think you'll be making some high resolution videos with this. I mean why would you? The screen size of phones these days are so limited, there is NO need ...

So do you have the 8100 or the 9800, because you posted this exact same thread in both forums?

guess im doin this post again couldent see it anyway the advantage of continous video is that its saved to your mem. card and then can watch it on your computer or convert it to dvd the object is to have as much as possible in one device and i would like to walk around always with a camcorder in my pocket some phones actually have a tv out now how cool is that, i daydreamed up 2 awesome features like a built in fm modulater for all the audio, i can currently hook my 9800 through my stereo although it only comes out 1 front speaker the sorround and the sub cause of the connector its still loud, and a mini projector to project the image on the phone onto the wall.

Just get a 2.5 mm to 3.5 mm adaptor and you're good to go.

Some sound systems have 3.5 mm inputs but most just have RCA jacks. Radio Shack has 3.5 mm to RCA cords. Plug it into your adaptor and play away.

Ummm.. Yeah, you do know it's a phone...to make calls form...right?

P.S you don't have a mini projector hooked up to it, and if you do that's just stupid.
