Possible to have Speakerphone on ouside?

just woundering if you can have speakerphone with the phone closed...

didnt think so, i just liked using it on my old phone when it was really noisy and couldnt hear, but with it open its to ackward to hold.

Verizon Tech said no. Not yet anyway (future sofware upgrade). It would be muffled anyway.
