we accually got adobe acrobat document promoting the new mp3 availablility on certain phones (8100, e815, cdm8940) and it showed the release dates for 9800 on sept. 26 and samsung 970 on oct.18.

Well, the information is misrepresented here. The handset will be available online the evening of September 26th. Whether it will only be for upgrade purchasing or if it will be available for everyone is another question entirely. But it appears it will be ready for purchase online September 26th and in stores October 1st. Indirect stores will get it October 5th, I believe.

They will be doing pretty good with equipmanet, it is definately a lot better than a year ago. The sam970, sam950, lg8100, lg9800, moto 815, razr coming. I think They finally got the heads out of their asses and are sending us some good stuff with much more in the pipeline.

noy sure on the pricing, but what i heard from lots of ppl is 299.99 after 50 mail in rebate 2 year, and retail 459.99.
