I have heard that this phone will be out before the end of September, but the real question will be how much will it cost??? Will it be closer to what the 8100 came out at or will it be around the $500 level that people are saying that the Samsung 970 will be???

A friend of mine has a girlfriend who works for Verizon, so I asked him today to ask her about the Vx-9800. She said That it will be out on September 26th and will be $249.95. I assume that that price is with a 2 year contract.

it is just that people think they know, when they do not... equipment quide has never been wrong about a price, especially two weeks before launch. vzw is classifying this as a pda, that is why you see the $349.99 tag with 2 year.

On the Approved Device list that is internal to VZW, the LG-vx9800 is under the PDA column. The original date was Sep 26th, this was almost a month ago. It was correct, and just like everything else VZW releases, it got pushed back.
