that's really strange 😕 ...this was the link i used last night http://www7.letstalk.com/product/promo.htm?pg Id=100&devicePrId=29083&metaCode=56982766

and it did have a $100 rebate...and i applied the RAF $25 coupon to get the $74.99 price...they filled the order QUICK!! 😳 it was shipped tonight when i just checked my email...

I suggest calling them on the phone and asking them about the $100 rebate offer...

after a $150 amazon.com mail in rebate (must be purchased by 12/28/05 and postmarked by 01/28/06) but here's the catch... ships in 4-6 weeks!!! how are you supposed to a)wait that long for a phone and b) get the rebate back in time, even!

Get the phone already-it took me weeks to decide on this phone-and I thought that was a long time. You know you want it and its 149 at letstalk. even at 199 its a steal. Any other network has ridiculous internet usuage fees- and extremely expensive phones (try like 400 at sprint for a phone that does 1/2 as much). Plus the N90 is supposed to be heavy as hell

Hey folks i'm new here so let me start out by saying hello. I based my purchace of this phone on the posts i've seen here so i figured i should give a little back:

I was able to get one from Letstalk for $99. I think the rebate thing lasted a day or two. Hope this isn't true and others can get in on the deal.

I just got the phone and it has the old firmware on it. But so far it works fantastic. I will post back if anything changes!!!

it appears that this is the firmware my phone has and from previous posts this is "old" firmware

V 3.01.1
18-06-05
Rm-58
Nokia 6682

it is still solid though i am playing mp3s now after setting up the pc suite and transfering songs to my phone via bluetooth...very nice...

i am pleasantly suprised with the very good sound just wished they didn't have the proprietary headphones...is there some kind of adapter/connector out there for use with my regular sony?

it took me a while to post an "update"...

after powering off and even taking battery out to check which sim card i have, the call logs are still there and i don't have the "copy contacts to sim" problem...my sim is a 64k

it is also running an old firmware the last time i checked...so is there an advantage to "get" the new firmware?

i already dropped this once camera still works great...i have only owned nokia phones so far and they have always been tough tough phones...

btw...here's a link to use to get the $25 refer a friend coupon and with the current $149 price, it would bring it down to $124...

i simply love this phone..

Is your "64k Sim" Blue on the side with the shiny yellow plates?????

Does it say 3G in any of the corner areas????

I've got the same phone (old firmware) and the sim card does not say 3G anywhere on it. Nor does it have any cingular software or symbols on the phone. I've had this phone for about 3 weeks now and have not seen any of the problems posted here. I also just discovered that these phones appear to be unlocked (i.e. t-moble sim card worked as well)..

argon and i probably bought the phone within a week or so of each other from letstalk

on one side of the SIM, it says "64K smartchip" with an orange cingular background with blue swish and the cingular logo and text

on the other side are the contact plates...

i am putting the SIM card back right now...no call log nor copy contact problems...

If you're reporting "old firmware" I'm guessing you have 3.01.1.....right?????

And these are Cingular branded, with cingular software on the??????

I ask, if you notice on another post, I did a warranty exchange, got the phone, it had the old 3.01.1 firmware on it......but yet, like YOU.....have not had the issues I had with the other phone, I've even tried to cause them....power cycle, leave the battery out, after pulling it while phone is on, waiting a couple minutes......but so far........no call log or contacts issues....

Something else strange, I had to friends who have this phone (both managers at stores), and they have sworn to me they never had the problems.........I'm wondering were the BS'ing me.....or is it possible, some ...

Nope, these are unbranded/unlocked phones. So no Cingular software, and i think this is why we do not see problems...
