I stored some voice tags but couldn't get my phone to actually access the feature. Everytime i push the voice connect button, instead of it asking what name i want to call, it pops up a message sayting "This application requires a licence managaer, download? " So i'm not sure if its an error in the software but it's not letting me use my voice tags. What do u all think?

It's the trial version of Voice Signal. The license to purchase is like $15 bucks. I think if you do a search, this has been covered as to what to do if you don't want to purchase the license. I myself did, and it works like a champ. My wife and I both bought the license, very handy, very good program.

The phone offers voice dialing with a Bluetooth headset without Voice Signal.

What do you guys use it for, launching apps?

You have to delete the voicesignal application to use the built-in voice software. I use it for dialing and turning bluetooth on and off. I liked voicesignal, but it took too long to lauch, that was a showstopper for me.

I didn't like VS. I suppose the biggest thing was can't voice dial from BT headset. I just let mine expire and the phone reverted back to it's regular voice functionality. I didn't have to uninstall or delete VS.

No you don't have to remove it , but I believe the program takes up about 1mb or more of space, so I removed it.

The Voice Signal software is very nicein that you do not have to train the voice tags.

BUT ... the fact that you can not activate it via the bluetooth headset makes it much less usefull in real life. I a few emails to both Nokia and Voice Signal about this, and got a total runaround from both. Nokia said it is up to the aplication designer (Voice Signal) to implement this, and Voice Signal said it was up to handset manufacturer (Nokia) .... my view ... both of them suck at customer service, and have no intention of helping us with this issue.

If anyone knows a way around it, please post it.

Thanks

I have not seen a workaround, but with 50 voice dial contacts, I don't think I'll run out of space/slots.
