Plastic Screen Cover.

When I got my 6682 from Cingular yesterday, the plastic screen cover came with scratches and looked a tad worn. Can that be replaced or should I call Cingular getting a new phone? My Krusell case is on it's way, but won't serve as much of an important role now.

What came with the phone is for shipping. Nothing else.

Are you referring to a plastic peel off cover or to the clear part of the faceplate that covers the LCD?

Mine didn't come with any protective plastic cover so I'm assuming you're referring to the faceplate. You can replace it with a new faceplate but I don't know of anyone selling 6682 faceplates yet.

I can see how this could happen. The plastic box that it is sent in has a pocket for the phone but it isn't very snug and can slide a bit back and forth. They threw the credit card sized sim template (the part left over after you pop the sim card out, don't know what to call it) underneath the phone for mine. zcw100, one of the other threads just answered this for me. There is actually a peel off cover that I did not notice that had the scrathes on it. It doesn't have the excess peel off cover to signify it is a peel off. So this whole time I thought it came without a peel off and that the screen was scratched. Anyway, it did have the peel off and I feel like an ass.

What do you know. I just picked at that little silver triangle in the corner and noticed that it's on my phone too. Doh!
