Caller ID quirk

When I receive incoming calls on the 6682, I do not always see the name of the "contact" person calling. Srangely, if I receive a call from someone with more than 1 number in my contact list, the caller ID function will only identify them if they are using the first number listed. (This was not the case on my much less advanced Nokia phone used previous to the 6682.) I played with the default settings etc., but this does not seem to be the root of the problem. Must I save each number under a seperate contact name, i.e. "John, John2," etc.? has anyone had a similar experience? Could this have something to do with a SIM transfer gone wrong?

Is anyone having the same problem with their caller ID function? Is this likely to be a service provider (Cingular( problem, or something wrong with the SIM card/phone?

I have the same problem. I have not yet figured out exactly what the parameters are that cause it, but in simple terms the callers name does not always show up even though they are in my address book.
I have a 6681 on T-Mobile.
