Walmart wont upgrade for a year!
I went to walmart and they can not upgrade my plan for a year. They said I would have to pay full price for the phone. Is there anywhere else i can go?

You may be able to do an "early upgrade" through Cingular. I think there is a $36 fee and you're only able to get the 1-yr contract price on the phone.
You may come out ahead paying an early termination fee and resigning with Walmart to get the lowest price. You'll have to check and do the math to see.

i work for cingular and walmart blows. bad service, no tech support, horrible terms and conditions...the only plus is the price. do yourelf a favor and go to an actual cingular store and get taken care of right.

Cingular is the last place to expect any kind of service! Yea, you can go there, wait forever, then talk with a sales associate that probably hasn't even graduated HS.
Do yourself a bigger favor... buy the phone from Walmart, save some money, and get all your tech support here!
