Motorola V635

I called up Motorola, and they said it will not be carried by a US carrier. Thats why I said that. I am calling them now, to confirm this. Just spoke to a Moto rep, and she said "No". Only the phones that are on the Product Preview website.

Just call Motorola. Or note the current description on Phone Scoop.It isn't being carried by any U.S. carrier. The plan was for Cingular to carry it and that's what used to be listed on Phone Scoop and the phone was shown on the Motorola site for relase in the first quarter. Not now though.

It wasn't accepted by Cingular for the same reasons that they dropped the V600 and gave out replacements.

Thats what I told them, but they thought I was lieing. I told them it ain't coming out for a US carrier. Read the threads about them bashing me, saying I am a lier, let them know I am not bugging out.

When i called motorola to complain about my phone the man told me this phone is scheduled to be released in the second half of 2005 and until than they can not repair my phone in the u.s. (I personally think this is a load of crap and do not believe the phone is coming out in the u.s. at all). I can't blame them my phone is giving me hell and they were smart not to accept it. THe phone i thought so highly of and the ONLY phone i would have agreed to pay $330 for ended up to be nothing but a pretty case.

They told me over the phone, and in the email they replied back to me, and said the phone is not coming out for the US.

I am calling now, to see what they say. And again a female rep put me hold for 10 minutes and said "No". But you might be able to get it from a 3rd party dealer.

See, now was that so hard? There are alot of people on these forum sites spreading rumors and giving wrong or inaccurate information. Substantiating your comments with facts like what you've provided assists all of us in making better and informed decisions.

I been told them that it wasn't coming since I spoke with Motorola 2 months ago, but they bashed me and said I was a lyer, and saying I am giving false info about Cingular not carrying it, and that it failed the tests. And also about it not coming out for a US GSM carrier. Everyone knows that Cingular has really tough expectations when it comes to tests before a phone comes out. So, now I hope they feel stupid, since they were hoping that Cingular brings it out. This time since I showed everybody written proof, they can stop questioning my intelligence.
