Samsung SCH-i730
Anyone find a case for the i730
I am looking for a case with a belt clip. I hate the case that came with the phone. I had one for my Treo 600 & 650 that worked well but can't find anything for i730. Thanks for your help.

I agree that the clip that comes with the i730 is as cheap as they come. I don't trust those cheesey clips expecially with an expensive phone like this. I am looking for a nice leather case that has a strap that my belt can go through. Circuit City has a decent looking leather case but it has that cheap clip.

Is anyone have problems using speeding dialing. Sometime when I press and hold the number on the screen it works and other times it does not. Any ideas? Also have the working roaming come up in the banner screen, I am not roaming in my home area. I called tech support, and they did not understand why this was happen. Anyone having this problem? Thanks in advance for your help

The leather cases for the Treo 650 (the ones for storage only and not screen or button access) should work just fine.

i work for verizon and happen to stumble on the case that comes with the treo 600 and it works perfectly with the slim battery.

The Treo cases generally won't work for the i730 with extended battery. I've purchased a Bellagio and an E3, and neither one fits. Don't make the same mistake I did. Wait for one that's designed just for us to come out.

I think the sliding keyboard is root of the case problem, the 650 does not have a slide out making it easier to cover the unit

It looks kind of big to me. It might look bigger because it looks padded. Price is good.
I would rather get one made by Krusell. So far to my knowledge they have not made one yet for the i730.

I purchased a nice leather case that was supposedly made for the i730. The phone fits it with the regular battery, but the problem is that most of the time when you pull it out of the holster even with the keys locked it answers the phone. The buttons for answering and ending a call on the bottom or the phone are active even with the keys locked. My recomendation for anyone is to wait until either Samsung or Verizon bring out a case specifically for this phone.

I have been looking for a case too, but have found that anything that is currently available is stupid looking. The wierd thing is that on the welcome CD that came with it from Verizon, it shows an awesome case that apparently, isn't available anywhere. I guess we all have to wait.

I just purchased a leather case on the Samsung website for $11.99 (14.99 if you dont register your phone). It is nice and would protect my investment a little better than the clip that comes with the phone. Though turning it side ways helps. The leather pouch sits horizontally and has a belt clip. Nice case for the price. If you register your phone, you can receive accessories for 20% off the list price.
