I just emailed vajacases.com to find out if they are designing a case for our beloved phone to be (little sammy) and I got this response:
"We have plans to develop the case for that phone, but we can´t give you an approximate releasing date.
Anyway, we´ll contact you as soon as it´s available.

Ok, for those of you who do not know, vaja cases are hand made specifically for you exact model (handmade). They are pricey, but they will protect your phone and give it a very good look. They are definitely worth the money.

If the prices on the Vaja website are what I think they are, you'd have to be pretty dumb to spend that king of money. It's a case for pete sake. Looks more like a status symbol to me.

The price does not look so bad when you are protecting a phone that you paid $600 for! I would definately pay $100 for a case that keeps my phone looking new! Anyone else feel the same way?

Wait a minute, I saw a case that looked to be around $80 that leaves the screen and keys exposed. That makes sense?

Haha. I just spent $45 for a tube of lipstick, so $80 isn't that much more. However, I recently got a treo 600, which I hate and the case that came with it was pitiful. After going around to the other carriers for a decent case, I had to settle on one that's not that much better. It has the plastic screen cover, but it doesn't fit right, although it was made for the treo. If you know of a better place to buy a good case for half the cost, please tell me. I only found out about vaja case the day the first message listed, so if there are other places, let me know so I can check it out. Thanks!

Regardless of why you would buy a bmw, I think that we would all agree that you got a good car! If you are buying a vaja case for looks, so be it. If you are buying it so you have a case that is an exact fit, protects the phone then so be it. Regardless, you purchased a good case! Poor example with the bmw.

You're nitpicking about the analogy. Good cases can be had for half the price. I saw the cases on Vaja's website - they're clearly for the upper crust set. Like I said, if you don't care about wasting money, then these cases are for you.

You get what you pay for! A good case is alright, but why not put $40 for greatness. Back to your BMW analogy, you can buy a good car (Chevy Malibu, Kia Spectra, Daewood) and it will do the exact same thing, but why do people get BMW's? For their excellence. The only people who do not have BMWs, are those who do not have enough money.....ok maybe not everyone, but I think my point has been made! Just dish out the extra $40, you probably spend that at burger king in a week! BTW, thanks for the analogy!

Valid. Part of the issue I have with this phone is the price, if you believe the rumors. I can't justify spending over $500 for a phone, let alone that much more for a case. Maybe I'll just have to wait until this thing sells for under $500.

Even $550 is a stretch for me. I saw over in pdaphonehome where someone caught wind of a sub-$400 price - anyone heard different?
