Samsung SCH-i730
When will this phone be available??
Can anyone (maybe a VZW insider) give us an idea of when this phone will really be available?
I recently purchased an AudioVox VX6600 (not knowing about the i730) and I am nearing the expiration of the 15 day period. Despite some annoying quirks, the VX6600 is a nice phone - but the expected (and not confirmed) WI-FI support in the i730 is a compelling feature. [The protruding Sandisk 256 Mb SDI WI-FI is just not an option for me.]
I have to make a decision on whether to return the VX6600 or hold on to it. I've seen posts in this forum going back to March predicting the phone's imminent release ("next week") 3 months ago. VZW has a "Coming Soon" page that seems to have been there for a while.
So, I would really appreciate some advic...

My b2b rep says 2 to 3 weeks until launch. And even if he knows nothing, the treo 650 was listed as "coming soom" on the verizon site about 4 weeks prior to b2b launch. Using that as a guide, 730 should be out in about 3 weeks. The "coming soon" has already been up on the verizon site for at least 10 days...

THis is what i got from my customer rep(CA)...they're trying to release the camera version at same time so he thinks "after school starts" so i asked if that meant sept? he says august.
