Well, judging on how long it takes usually for Verizon to test their phones, and the history of phones being released after the tech trends switch, I am thinking we ought to see this released about the same time as the CDMA Razr so look for them to hit shelves at Christmas.....of 2007 😉

Yes it is hot and I have been waiting to get one. But too much waiting. I was told by someone that it would be available late Q1... I guess it was meant to be in 2006...

I must say verizon has been pretty good on the releases of phones in the past year, you'll see it released i bet it will arrive by summer this year. I'm kind of surprised it supports WI-FI after all the Broadband access commercials trashing wi-fi and hotspots, but wow having a phone EVDO that will Drop to 1x, and no the option of wifi, great phone.

About the wi-fi...I read that Verizon was taking pressure from their corporate customers to include wi-fi, so they included it on the Samsung i730. That would be a good business decision and that would be very Verizon like...always doing what's right for their business (and there's nothing wrong with that)!
