Here's how to play MP3's directly from the SD card...
kjataJul 20, 2005, 8:18 AM
MP3's *can* be played directly from the SD card...just rename them to end in .qcp instead of .mp3 and place them in the 'My Sounds' folder on your SD card. Once that is done, just go to 'Get it Now', then 'Get Tunes and Tones', then 'My Sounds', where the .qcp files are now visible (and playable). I haven't found any limitation in file sizes...playing > 10MB files works just fine.
Unfortunately, I have no clue how to enable the front buttons on the phone. In addition, hitting *any* button while a file is playing will stop the player (this includes the volume buttons).

If you use a program called "super v.1.791 you can convert mp3's to qg2 files. (the file that the video player uses.) then you can put the file in the my flix folder, and then the video player works!! Pause, forward, reverse, play!! A much cooler solution!! and the program is free!!

Can you post where to get the program super? I have searched everywhere and can not find it or any that will convert mp3s to qg2.
Thanks in Advance!
