Besides renaming them only works if you want to leave the phone open and dont press any of the buttons. At which point, it aint a phone anymore. Its a not very good kinda sorta mp3 player. Kinda defeats the purpose... Can you even recieve calls when its playing these 'mp3's'?

yes you can recieve calls when its playing... just rename the files to .mid and your all set, they are in the sounds directory. you just have to leave the phone open which is a bummer but... its a great phone and i love it 😁

I am helping, look it up. if you dont understand something add to the thread. yeah there are several ways. so how can there be a "definitive" way anyway.
