Will VZ Navigator work on this Phone.
The VZ Navigator looks awesome. I would love to have all the functionality of Tom Tom without buying a bulky, expensive system. However, there is no download for it yet on this phone. It is EXTREMELY capable of this program since its almost identical to its 9800 (the V) counterpart. Any news.

I've been digging into this question as well and ...
1) Technically, YES, you can pull up GPS data quite easily via the service area of the phone... so the data is there to run off... plus the EVDO backbone to pull map stuff.
2) The guys at my local VZW store said it's a company goal to get it on as many phones as possible since it's a revenue generator (2.99/day or some monthly fee for unlimited)
3) The download will be available on GIN for all phones in the mid-June timeframe (16th I think)... so just b/c it's not there yet doesn't mean we're not supported yet. It's not out for anyone yet.
