data cable for lg 8100/ringtones
i understand you need a data cable and convert to bitpim whatever that means but what type of data cable do i need? i was checking on ebay and there is tons of data cables i just want to get the correct one.

find one that fits the 6100,5200,7000-8000-8100,9800. if you concerned just buy the music essentials kit from verizon, comes with lg usb drivers(which you will need to get computer to recognize phone) and a quality data cable that will defianetly work. The kit is $30 bucks but no wwaitng and no worrying about finding drivers and a good cable on ebay.

I bought the Music Essential Kit when I ordered my phone. It was easy to install the drivers and I use Bitpim to transfer ringtones to my phone. Verizon had a special $10 off. I got it for $20. It also includes a pair of heavy ear buds that don't stay in my ear. but the cable was a good purchase for me.
