Outside Display
I just got the LG VX-8100 yesterday. I haven't been able to figure out how to keep the outside display screen on. After about 2 minutes the display disappears and I am left with a blank gray screen. How can I get the clock, background, etc to stay visible even when I am not using the phone?

Sorry it only stays on for a little while you just have to push the side volume for it to ligth up again, i think this is to save battery.

If you really want to the front screen to stay on constanly then heres how.
Menu -> 0000000 (zero 7 times) -> 2. Field Tests -> (scroll down to see) *.Power Save Mode -> Off -> OK and then press END and it will stay on. If your battery doesnt last as long as it used to then u know 😉
