V08 Upgrade? Rumor has it disables MP3?
No, that's not a typo. I just called my local VZW store to see if the tech's had V07 available. During our conversation about re-endabling the mp3 player, he said that a V08 upgrade is in the works which will completely take away the mp3 player.

yeah i wrote something about this a while back, basically my understanding is their will eventually be two software versions that verizon will use for this phone, one with mp3 and one with mod but they willl block your ability to have both, i guess their agreement with microsoft is one or the other. They will of course sell and push the mod version but the mp3 sofware flash will exist for customers who receive insurance replacements or phones through the fru program and want their mp3 player they origianlly had back.
