is it a decent mp3 player?

I notice the buttons on front. It seams that you can skip forward and backwards between songs. Can you search through songs? Can you create play lists? Can you sync it with Windows Media Player? Basically, how well does it work as an mp3 player.

You can use the buttons to skip forward and backwards, pause, etc. You cannot create playlists, or sub-folders, on the phone. All songs must be in the same file - My_MP3s. I have found a way to organize my songs. When I have my miniSD card in my card reader, and am looking at the files on my computer, I rename each song with a sorting tool. For example, I have Rod Stewart, American Songbook Vol. I. I rename each song so it begins with "RSAS101, RSAS102, etc. R-od S-tewart A-merican S-ongbook vol. -1 song 01,02, etc. I have some Beatles songs on there and they all begin with "B01", "B02", etc. Before I take the card from the computer, I click on the header above name to get all the songs sorted by name. If your goal is to listen to music on your phone, you'll enjoy this. Don't expect an IPOD, you prick.

Did I say I was expecting an IPOD? In fact the title of my tread reads "decent", not "great". There's no need for name calling (ie prick).
