latest update on newly bought phones?
I haven't bought the 8100 yet, but I'm wondering if the latest updates are put on the phone before you buy one.
...
If the store where you buy the phone has a tech dept and they have the update available then they will apply it to your phone.

What if they don't have any in the store and you have to order, or what if you order over the phone or online? Will the one you get have the v04 already installed since it's coming straight from the factory?

They can say what they want, but, well after the V710 update, I still received 2 replacements without the updated software, and 3 replacements via mail without the updated software... Just hope the VX8100 update comes to my area soon... Went in Saturday to the local store and was told there is no update..
