Well the first thing you have to have is the update to allow the phone to play the mp3s. Once you have that then you have to have a card reader. I got mine at micro center for $10. One you have that it is simple...

1. Plug the card reader into the USB port of your PC.
2. Insert the card into the reader.
3. Open "My Computer"
4. Open the folder that contains the reader (mine is E🙂
5. Then you just cut/paste, copy/paste, drag/drop (however you prefer to do it) from where u have the mp3s stored to the mp3 folder.

Yes you should get the update. You have to go to the store for the update. The phone may be new but it wasnt shipped with the new update. Takes anywhere from 10 to 60 mins.

It depends on where you live...it doesnt seem to be everywhere yet.

Also as a side note...when the card is put in the reader I get a box come up automatically asking how you want to open it (as a slide show, open folder, etc...) You can just do open folder from there.

The phone is pretty new...but there were some problems with things including the mp3 player not working. This update is fixing those things.
