I am in South Orange County and called the Laguna Niguel store on Aug. 24 (Weds.) and they claimed they didn't have it yet.
I also have a friend who works in technical support in a Westlake Village Verizon store and he told me that they don't have the update yet either.

dam i have a friend that works in SIMI VALLEY and he said it was supposed to get here 8/22 but it hasnt been availble yet. ill let you know when it becomes available

yeah i just called the store in sacramento and we dont have it yet either the tech person said they dont know when they are gonna get it untill it comes we just got vcast up here though yesterday so if that tells you anything 😁

yeah, it seems as though the updated started out on the east coast and is meandering its way westward. the furthest west i've heard of to get the update is Plano, TX. i'm down in san diego and none of the store around here have it yet, they all tell me "soon."

I happened to be near Laguna Niguel store today so I went in to ask about the update. Tech person told me that they receive corporate product like this on Thursdays (!?!) but that it did not arrive today. After disappearing and returning, he said he asked his manager about it, who then told him that it was still in final testing. I think that is their generic answer until they actually get it in store.

I have a feeling that San Diego might take a while to get the update. I'm hoping by next week though.

Was in Laguna Niguel store again on Wednesday. Tech there said they expected to have update in store by next Thurs.
My friend who's a Verizon tech in Westlake Village is on vacation til Tues and didn't know about it (while he's away from store).

I believe that, totally! I just called my local store in Fort Wayne, Indiana (which is the last to get anything....still no EVDO or VCAST) and they say they have it!!!!!!!!!!!!! What sucks is I've been waiting soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo long for this and I have to be at a party in about an hour so I can't go get it right now! I'll have to wait until tomorrow, I guess. I suppose if I've waited this long, another day won't matter!
