question about zoom view (after picture is taken)

I don't know if anyone has asked or answered this before....

but you know how after you take a picture and it's saved, under options you can go to zoom view? is there any real point to that? i don't see any option of saving, i was wondering if there was any way to zoom in on the picture and save it again that way. just cause there are a few pics of people that i took that are really good, but would look so much better if they could be permanently zoomed in.

Thanks!

zoom view is good for this: if you see a sign somewhere that you want to be able to read later, you can zoom in on the print. if the print size is too small, it will be fuzzy, but it is a huge difference over the VX 6000's resolution

The only way you can zoom in on pictures is to lower the resolution. The highest resolution doesn't have the zoom option, but the rest of the resolution options do have the zoom option. I don't think that you can save a picture again after taking it and saving it the first time.
